For the sixth time, Lviv Polytechnic will host an Eco-weekend organized by the University Department of Marketing and Innovation. These measures are aimed at spreading and promoting an ecological lifestyle.
― Unfortunately, this year we will once again hold the events of our Eco-weekend online. Previously, it was a large-scale festival, but now we are forced to adapt to the realities in which we are. But even under the wartime conditions, we should not forget about the environment and how each of us can contribute to its preservation, – said Iryna Romanovska, head of the Department of Marketing and Innovation.
In cooperation with the Department of Ecology and Sustainable Environmental Management, Viacheslav Chornovil Institute of Sustainable Development, Lviv Polytechnic, the Department of Marketing and Innovation has prepared a number of tips how to help the environment.
― It is important to lead an eco-lifestyle, adapting to realities. On November 15, at 13:30, an online meeting with Suzanna Tymochko, a graduate of our University, the communication manager of the Rare Species, WWF-Ukraine (World Wide Fund for Nature Ukraine) will be held on the Instagram page of Lviv Polytechnic. We will talk about tourism in the conditions of war, in particular wild tourist etiquette, – added Iryna Romanovska.
Also, on November 17, at the Student Volunteer Headquarters (42 Lazarenka St.), the master class «Heat for the Army» will be held at 17:00 as part of the Eco-weekend and Student’s Day. Here you will learn how to make trench candles.
