As part of the «Meeting» project, a second exhibition of Polish artists was opened in Lviv Polytechnic. This time Kateryna Novakovska, Marcin Bogenek and Julia Tarnovska presented their works. The paintings can be viewed in room 226 in the main building.
All artists, like the previous time, are representatives of Higher Technical School in Katowice. Julia Tarnovska is for the first time not only in Lviv Polytechnic, but in Ukraine as well. She is impressed by our university and is planning to see Polytechnic assembly hall, the city itself, museums, galleries and the Lychakiv cemetery.
Oresta Remeshylo-Rybchynska, the organizer of the «Meeting» project, Associate Professor at DAF Department, says that there is a big difference between the artists of Lviv Polytechnic and Higher Technical School in Katowice, which is represented by a young generation and a lot of graphic works. Lviv Polytechnic, instead, is represented by painters.
Natalia Pavliuk from Lviv Polytechnic, who has already presented her works in Katowice, is pleasantly impressed not only by her reception there, but by their museum with an extraordinary collection.
Oresta Remeshylo-Rybchynska notes:
– A small Higher Technical School in Katowice has a magnificent gallery and its website with a calendar of exhibitions. It’s a pity that it’s difficult to achieve something like that at Lviv Polytechnic.
