On 13 November, 2025, the 3rd International Scientific Conference «Ukrainistyka Wrocławska: lingua, litterae, sermo» was held at the University of Wrocław, Poland. The event brought together scientists from Ukraine, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany and the USA. The conference became a platform for the exchange of modern Ukrainian studies in linguistic, literary and cultural dimensions.
Among the conference participants there were well-known scientists who presented the results of their studies on the problems of modern Ukrainian language, literature and communication, including Anatolii Zahnitko (V. Stus Donetsk National University), Anna Horniatko-Szumiłowicz (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan), Hanna Shvets (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv), Marta Zambrzycka (the University of Warsaw), Oleksandr Stukalo (Charles University, Prague), Olha Los (Ukrainian Institute) and others.
The researchers from the Department of Ukrainian Language, Lviv Polytechnic National University, also attended the conference, presenting the results of current research in the field of terminology, linguodidactics and modern linguistic discourse.
Participants highly appreciated the scientific value of the conference and the opportunity for intercultural dialogue within the academic community. The presentations delivered by scholars from the Department of Ukrainian Language stood out for their analytical depth, interdisciplinary approaches, and practical orientation, highlighting the strong scientific traditions of Lviv linguistics.
The Department of Ukrainian Language expresses its sincere gratitude to Przemysław Jóźwikiewicz, Head of the Instytut Filologii Słowiańskiej at the University of Wrocław, for organizing the conference, ensuring its high scientific level, and fostering an atmosphere of hospitality and creativity. Participation in the conference was an important scholarly experience for the Lviv Polytechnic faculty and a source of new ideas and inspiration for further research.
