Roksoliana Shymchuk conducted a tour and told a lot of interesting things about embroidered shirts. In particular, she stressed that she has been gathering her collection for over 30 years. The highlight is children’s costumes and unique shirts where the images of blue and yellow trident is skillfully woven into the pattern, as well as embroidered shirts with the inscription around the neck «Ukraine is not dead, nor its glory and freedom
Interesting is the fact that Roksoliana Shymchuk’s museum collection features embroidery of all regions of Ukraine: Bukovyna, Hutsulshchyna, Pokuttia, Polissia, Slobozhanshchyna, Podniprovia and others. There are exhibits that are 100–150 years old, most of the costumes were made before the Second World War.
