On 6 October 2022, Professor Yaryna Turchyn, Erasmus+ project coordinator of the Jean Monnet module "EU Eastern Partnership Initiative: Opportunities for Ukraine" and Jean Monnet "European Studies for Technical Specialities at Lviv Polytechnic National University," spoke at the Euroschool, which was held as part of EU Study Days in Ukraine, an educational project of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine launched in 2013.
The aim of the project is to develop a network of alumni who are interested in European integration and jointly implement their own initiatives in various fields. EU Study Days helps to find like-minded people who see Ukraine's development as a European state. EU Study Days EU lecturers are leading Ukrainian and European experts in European integration, international law, economics, digitalization, and other areas, who study the EU's development priorities in various fields that are directly related to key issues of EU-Ukraine relations.
Professor Yaryna Turchyn introduced the Eastern Partnership as a component of the EU's European Neighbourhood Policy in the thematic module ENP and Eastern Partnership, EU FSP (lecture, Q&A).
Natalia Antoniuk, Professor at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, and Serhiy Gerasymchuk, Deputy Executive Director of the Foreign Policy Council "Ukrainian Prism" and director of the Regional Initiatives and Neighbourhood Programme, also shared their knowledge on EU enlargement policy and possible scenarios for the development of the Eastern Partnership.
The event was attended by more than thirty Euroschool students, who actively participated in the discussion on the state and prospects of the EU enlargement policy and the place of the Eastern Partnership countries, including Ukraine, in it.
