Work on the implementation of the Education Development Program is underway in the region. Therefore, the implementation of certain projects has already started, in particular those related to distance learning technologies. Details of project implementation were recently discussed with representatives of education departments of local communities.
Teacher training has already started within the pilot project "Moodle is pro100". In addition, educators can still apply to participate in the project on the use of distance learning technologies. School directors have to analyze the need for such training and provide the number of teachers who will participate.
- We took into account the comments that were made after the autumn training and prepared new courses to choose from. There are 30 seminars related to ICT, blended and distance learning without being dependent on any specific platform. We are getting into new learning conditions, and no one can predict the course of events. We must keep in mind that the transition from full-time to blended learning, and then to distance learning will occur from time to time. Therefore, it is worth taking advantage of learning opportunities, said Marharyta Noskova, Director of the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies, the Institute of Jurisprudence, Psychology and Innovative Education, Lviv Polytechnic.
According to her, courses and seminars are designed for users of different levels - from zero to high. Also, each school can choose eLearning platform at its discretion, but experts ask to pay attention to the lack of prospects for commercialization of proposals.
