In June 2019 the editorial board of the DOU programmer community again analyzed the salaries of Ukrainian developers. 11 439 respondents, including 5 950 developers, took part in the salary survey.
As a result of the research it was found out that the most popular higher education institutions among the developers are National Technical University of Ukraine «Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute» (14.5%), Lviv Polytechnic National University (6.6%) and Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics (6, 1%).
Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University unexpectedly became the leader among higher education institutions whose graduates have the highest salaries: in average respondents from this university receive $ 3,000. Lviv Polytechnic here occupies the 11th place with $ 2341.
Khmelnytskyi National University is the leader among universities whose students who are working in IT sphere have the highest salaries – $ 1100. In this ranking Lviv Polytechnic students are on the 9th place with $ 750.
