The laboratory was opened at the Department of Electronic Computing Machines. This is the second consecutive lab in the last month. It was created with the sponsorship support of SILEGO TECHNOLOGY (Ukraine) Dialog Semiconductor Group.
The University Vice-Rectors – Oleh Davydchak and Pavlo Zhezhnych, ICTA Director Mykola Mykyichuk, his Deputy Tetiana Bubela, Head of ECM Department Anatolii Melnyk, Head of the Laboratory Ivan Paraliukh, academics, students and, of course, representatives of sponsor company Bohdan Havryshkevych, Oleh Humenchuk and Andriana Kushnirenko participated in the official opening.
Head of the Department Professor Anatolii Melnyk told about close cooperation with SILEGO TECHNOLOGY (Ukraine) Dialog Semiconductor Group, where department graduates work, and leading specialists of the company join the educational process. Sponsor Representative Bohdan Havryshkevych emphasized that company needs specialists in both Basic Sciences and disciplines studied at the ECM Department. Oleh Humenchuk told more details about the transferred equipment and software, as well as about its capabilities to support learning process in specialized disciplines.
Academics and postgraduate students of the department also plan to conduct scientific research in the newly created laboratory. They are also considering research cooperation with the company.
