On November 20, Lviv Polytechnic students met with Yuliia Hryshyn, People’s Deputy from the Servant of the People party, and Ilia Bieliak, head of the Student Council of Experts.
At the meeting, they discussed the issues of student self-government, and learned more about the Student Council of Experts and how to join it, as well as how not to lose contact with young people and students who are currently abroad. There were many proposals and initiatives to solve these issues.
According to Yuliia Hryshyn, the implementation of one of the projects of the Student Council of Experts is currently being discussed with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and Dmytro Kuleba. There is a proposal to introduce coordination councils that will help our embassies in those countries where the largest number of Ukrainian students reside. According to the people’s deputy, the established councils will hold various events and meetings in order to find, unite and involve Ukrainian youth in state processes.
– Therefore, join this project, because it is an opportunity to help our country, – urged Yuliia Hryshyn.
Such a project can be useful both for the state and for the youth. It is a significant advantage for the state to establish and maintain relations with students abroad. And students and young people will have the opportunity to turn their knowledge into skills and show themselves at the state level. Equally important is the involvement of public and self-government organizations in the project, as they can put forward their proposals not only at the local, but also at the regional and state levels.
Many of the present students were interested in the mechanism of joining the Student Council of Experts. According to Ilia Bieliak, the procedure for joining the council is very simple, you only need to fill out an electronic questionnaire. As a result of an internal decision on admission, the student automatically acquires membership in the Student Council of Experts. The procedure is similar for public organizations.
This meeting opened up new opportunities for Polytechnicians and instilled confidence that everyone can contribute to the development of our state. This is facilitated by a considerable number of projects that have been and will have been created with the participation of Ukrainian embassies in other states. Desire and perseverance are the main components of future success. Such projects provide an opportunity to realize the potential project at the national level.
