On 8 December 2022, students of Lviv Polytechnic National University visited the Lviv Administrative Service Centre as part of a European public tour. The students learned that such ASCs were established within the framework of the European Union's technical assistance project "Administrative Service Centre as an Innovative Tool for Interaction between Government and Community" and the U-LEAD with Europe Programme.
During the meeting, the students learned about the history of ASCs, the system of ASC functioning from the inside, the basic principles of working with the electronic queue management system and other wide range of services (issuance of an iCards, registration of individual entrepreneurs, registration of real estate, registration of residence, services of public authorities, etc.)
The key message of the meeting was that the ASC is a service institution that all residents can apply to without exception. During the event, visitors were able to use the services in the self-service area and take part in a masterclass on ordering e-services. The masterclass was conducted by Mariana Ogorodnyk, the ASC administrator, and Mariana Turok, the deputy head of the department.
The excursion was organised on the initiative of the European Studies for Technical Specialities at Lviv Polytechnic National University (EUSTS) project team - Director of the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences Yaryna Turchyn, Head of the Social Communications and Information Activity Department Oleksandr Markovets, Associate Professor of the Social Communications and Information Activity Department Nataliia Vovk, Associate Professors of the Political Science and International Relations Department Olha Ivasechko and Oleh Tsebenko, Senior Lecturer of the Political Science and International Relations Department Iryna Sukhorolska, Assistant of the Political Science and International Relations Department Khrystyna Zabavska, Associate Professor of Electromechatronics and Computerised Electromechanical Systems Department Lidiya Kasha.
