Volodymyr Chubai, Professor at the Department of Accounting and Analysis, the Institute of Economics and Management, Lviv Polytechnic, and Nataliia Melnyk, a successful graduate of the Department, invite teams of 9–10th grade students from schools, lyceums and gymnasiums in Lviv and Lviv region to register for participation in intellectual competitions within the Personal Path project.

A team should consist of 6 students. If someone does not have a team but wants to participate in the competition, he or she can also apply – we would form one or two joint teams from Lviv region. The final of the intellectual competition is scheduled for May 2025, and it will take place in one of the beautiful premises of Lviv Polytechnic. Until then, the teams will be preparing comprehensively on their own to become winners or at least show good results.

To take part in the intellectual competitions, please send information about the team (surname, name, patronymic, the name of school or lyceum and its location) to Nataliia Melnyk, the Deputy Project Manager, at individualway2go@gmail.com. Please provide the name of the team and a captain, a contact person from among the teachers, a mobile phone number and a current email address of the team captain and the contact person. You should send the information only after you have firmly decided that you will prepare well for the competition and compete honestly for the final and the prize.

The registration deadline is 29 December 2024.

In addition, Volodymyr Chubai and Nataliia Melnyk organised a regional competition for 5–11-grade students called Booklovers 2.0 (June-September 2024) as part of the Personal Path project. The final of the competition took place at the end of September at the Lviv Polytechnic Startup School, and now there is an online voting for the finalists’ book-reviews which is open until 29 December in two age groups:

The organisers invite Polytechnicians to vote for three reviews they like best in each of the two age groups. Based on the results of the online voting, the author of the review that receives the most votes in each of the two age groups will be awarded a diploma and a book prize for the appropriate age.
