The National Bank of Ukraine announces the start of the traditional student competition «Monetary Policy: the NBU University Challenge 2023» and invites young people from all over Ukraine to participate in the competition.
This is a unique opportunity to look behind the scenes of the work of the central bank. Since 2019, the National Bank of Ukraine has annually held this competition to deepen students’ practical understanding of the role of monetary policy in the development of Ukraine’s economy.
The participants need to prepare and substantiate the answer to the extended question «What should be the decisions of the NBU Board regarding interest rates, the official exchange rate and currency restrictions during the war and why?»
Teams from any institution of higher education in our country can take part in the competition. The team should consist of three to five students studying at the same faculty (institute). The work of the team is coordinated by one teacher-mentor.
To register for the competition, teams must fill out the form. Registration will last until September 20, 2023 (inclusive).
