On December 13, 2021, at the Department of Management and International Business, Lviv Polytechnic National University, a renovated laboratory was opened. It was equipped with new modern equipment purchased with the Digitale Zukunft - Digi Bridge international grant program. The program of cooperation between the Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences and Lviv Polytechnic National University, Ukraine, is being implemented from February 1, 2021 to August 31, 2022 at the Department of Management and International Business.
Professor Liana Chernobay, Candidate of Technical Sciences Coordinator and Responsible Executor of the international grant program, Deputy Head of the Department of Management and International Business for educational and scientific work with students, stressed that the long negotiation process after the first meeting with partners in 2018 ended with signing the Agreement between the Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences and Lviv Polytechnic National University. She briefly told about the program:
- Our grant is called Digitale Zukunft - Digi Bridge, that is digital bridge, which connects Lviv Polytechnic, Ukraine, and Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany, into a single educational space. The grant program provides for the achievement of a number of goals, including the development of material and technical base to ensure a modern online educational process. I would also like to emphasize that within the framework of the grant program, our students participated in unique activities, namely: the international elective course "Entrepreneurial Cross-Border Business Opportunities (180 hours, 6 ECTS credits) ) with the involvement of guest lecturers from the Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences. Students from Ukraine and Germany studied together in multicultural groups, and the assessment was conducted by our partners from Germany.
In the autumn semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, an open webinar Future of Learning Design and a unique educational course Global Venture Week for Cross-Border Entrepreneurship were conducted for students and academic staff. I am sure that the updated material and technical base will only contribute to the further development of the international educational space, and I congratulate my colleagues in the Department, because you will work with this equipment and teach students using modern digital technologies. So far, our project will last until August 31, 2022, but opportunities for further cooperation with our partners are open, and I hope that we will successfully develop it and continue to collaborate.
