The new space has been arranged on the eighth floor in the V academic building. At the opening ceremony the ribbon was cut by Yuriy Bobalo, Rector of the University, and Ihor Pasemko, the creator of this project, co-founder of Agiliway company and a graduate of the Department of Automated Control Systems (ACS). So, from now on, an ordinary corridor has become a modern space where students can work and rest, where various meetings, trainings and classes will take place.
Yuriy Bobalo expressed his gratitude to the graduates who, after completing their studies, do not forget their Polytechnic and in various ways contribute to its development and modernization. Nowadays it is extremely important to feel the support of graduates.
The Vice Rectors Liliya Zhuk, Roman Korzh, Volodymyr Kraiovskyi, Director of the Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies (ICSIT) Mykola Medykovskyi, Head of the ACS Department Vasyl Tesliuk, teachers, students, and representatives of other Departments attended the event.
The international IT company Agiliway, a custom software development and IT consulting company – were also represented by its marketing director Dmytro Riznyk, office director and construction project manager Roman Kopak, and deputy HR director Anastasia Kritsak.
Mykola Medykovskyi, Director of ICSIT, emphasized that this is not the first and, hopefully, not the last assistance of the Agiliway to the Institute, since the Department of Information Systems and Networks has two fully modernly equipped classrooms. The Head of the Institute informed the students that the ideas of the first IT companies arose here, in this building, and the business plan of the SoftServe company was written in the room 804. He also expressed confidence that today’s students will later also create lots of interesting and promising IT projects.
