On October 17, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Mykhailo Vynnytskyi conducted a working visit to Lviv Polytechnic.
He met with Yuriy Bobalo, the University Rector, Oleh Matviikiv, First Vice-Rector, Liliia Zhuk, Vice-Rector for Education and Strategic Development, Ivan Demydov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Research, and Iryna Kluchkovska, Director of the International Institute of Education, Culture and Diaspora Relations (IECDR). They discussed the development of the University’s scientific and technical potential in accordance with the current needs of the country, in particular in the field of miltech and medtech, as well as presented some infrastructure projects in the field of information and communication technologies. Special attention was paid to the volunteer activities that are being conducted at Lviv Polytechnic. Mykhailo Vynnytskyi got also familiarized with the developments in the University’s management system, including the evaluation of the performance of employees and Departments, as well as employee motivation.
Mykhailo Vynnytskyi, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, expressed his gratitude to Iryna Kliuchkovska, IECDR Director, for the large-scale projects implemented by the staff of this Lviv Polytechnic Institute and for their work to promote the Ukrainian language in the world and present the achievements of national culture and the cultural heritage of the global Ukrainian community, as well as for the research of migration processes.
