On July 11, the Institute of Law, Psychology and Innovative Education, Lviv Polytechnic National University, held a solemn ceremony of awarding diplomas to Bachelors’ in Psychology and Journalism.
About 120 graduates received their dream bachelor’s degree diploma. For the first time in the last two years, the solemn ceremony was held at the Institute of Jurisprudence, Psychology and Innovative Education. In previous years, due to quarantine measures, diplomas were presented to each graduate individually.by appointment.
Volodymyr Ortynskyi, Director of the Institute of Jurisprudence, Psychology and Innovative Education, congratulated students on receiving their first document on higher education.
«Today you are the winners, because you have fought and worked for four years to get this diploma. It opens for you the way to the future. From now on, you are qualified workers. You are the ones who received higher education. However, I wish you not to stop. Despite the difficult wartime, continue to study. You must obtain a full higher education. We will support you in every possible way and would like to see you eventually become Masters’ in Psychology and Journalism. We have everything you need for this. I wish you strength and inspiration to continue», said Volodymyr Ortynskyi.
Iryna Sniadanko, Head of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Psychology, noted that this is the first time in the Covid-19 years that diplomas at the Institute of Jurisprudence, Psychology and Innovative Education are handed out at a solemn ceremony.
«Last week I was watching Star Wars with my daughter. In the third part, Master Yoda told his student: «If you want to learn, you must first master patience». He did not begin to teach him until the hero learned to endure. Patience reveals respect for one’s neighbour. When you learn to respect your neighbour, you will learn to respect yourself. Patience and respect – this is exactly what I wish for you», emphasized Iryna Sniadanko.
