Lviv Polytechnic develops cooperation with Astana IT University. This was agreed on July 7 during the visit of representatives of the university to our Polytechnic.
During the meeting, Rector of Lviv Polytechnic Yurii Bobalo and Rector of Astana IT University Ahmed-Zaki Darkhan discussed areas of cooperation, including a double degree program in Information and Communication Technologies, academic mobility for faculty and students, as well as courses that can be conducted by Lviv Polytechnic researchers.
Andriy Biloshchytsky, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, Aidos Mukhatayev, Director of Strategy and Corporate Governance, Adil Faizullin, Director of Quality Assurance, Sapar Toksanov, Director of the Competence Center, Svitlana Biloshchytska, Professor, Department of Intelligent Technologies, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Yurii Chupryna, Professor, Department of Construction Management, Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, Nurken Mussabayev, Vice-Rector for Digitization, the University of International Business, Oleh Matviikiv, First Vice-Rector, Lviv Polytechnic, Nataliya Chukhray, Vice-Rector for Education and International Relations, Ivan Demydov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Research, Roman Korzh, Vice-Rector for Education and Social Development, and Nataliia Hots, Head of the Center for International Education, took part in the meeting.
The delegation also met with Directors and Heads of Departments of three Institutes, which train IT specialists: the Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies, the Institute of Computer Technologies, Automation and Metrology and the Institute of Telecommunications, Radioelectronics and Electronic Engineering. As part of the future cooperation planning, they discussed research internships, joint research grants, academic mobility for students, summer schools and joint conferences.
As part of the visit, the guests were given a tour of the main building of the University and the laboratories of the Institutes.
