Polytechnic students helped deliver gifts from Polish philanthropist Krzysztof Dombrowski to the Western Ukrainian Specialized Children’s Medical Center and the Lviv Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital «Okhmatdyt».
According to Volodymyr Shepitchak, one of the heads of the Center for the Collection of Humanitarian Aid at the University, hundreds of children received their gifts.
– These are toys, coloring books, colored pencils and other things that will help cheer up children in this difficult time. We express our gratitude to a good Polish friend Krzysztof Dombrowski, who collected these gifts, and to Polytechnicians who helped distribute them to the hospitals with children, many of whom ended up there because of the war crimes of the Russians, said Volodymyr Shepitchak.
