Lviv Polytechnic has once again entered the prestigious world ranking Times Higher Education

On September 2, the Times Higher Education announced the results of the World Universities Rankings. Lviv Polytechnic, which for six years in a row shows consistently high positions in the rankings, this year entered the group 601–800 and is one of only two higher education institutions in Ukraine, which are in the top 1000 world universities.

A total of 1,662 universities from 99 countries and regions of the world were included in the ranking. The number of universities included in the ranking is increasing every year. This time the ranking includes 1662, in the previous issue there were 1527, and earlier – 1397.

For the sixth year in a row, the ranking is headed by Oxford University. The top 10 includes universities in the United States and the United Kingdom (eight and two universities respectively). The list of top ten universities has not changed compared to the last year.

Among Ukrainian higher education institutions, 29 universities took part in the ranking, only 10 of which were included in the ranking (one of them for the first time).
