According to the results of the international university ranking UI GreenMetric 2021, Lviv Polytechnic has significantly improved its results – it took fifth place in the ranking of Ukrainian universities and 493rd position in the world ranking.
In 2020, our University ranked seventh among Ukrainian higher education institutions and 629th in the world. This is the second time our University has participated in this ranking.
UI GreenMetric is one of the leading annual rankings that assess the sustainable development of universities in the context of global change. In particular, the ranking is carried out according to such criteria as:
- Setting and Infrastructure;
- Energy and Climate Change;
- Waste;
- Water;
- Transportation;
- Education.
This year it also includes the issue of measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
