Lviv Polytechnic National University and PRO PM Construction Project Management School signed a memorandum and launched a joint educational project.
As a result of Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine, our country has suffered and continues to suffer from the destruction of a huge number of housing facilities and critical infrastructure, and therefore needs thousands of project managers in the field of construction and architecture who apply modern approaches to project management using IT tools
Lviv Polytechnic, which is one of the oldest technical schools in Ukraine and Europe, is among the leaders of higher education institutions of Ukraine, and PRO PM, a specialized business school that for 6 years has been training managers and specialists in the construction industry in Ukraine, applying modern approaches and IT tools for managing construction projects and companies. So, together they both plan to:
- start a permanent platform of interaction between students, Lviv Polytechnic and business;
- provide students and graduates of the University with the most up-to-date knowledge, tools, and skills in the field of architectural and construction project management;
- create and develop educational programs for students’ practice and employment, and for businesses – the opportunity to hire the best students;
- acquaint students of Lviv Polytechnic with new technologies in the field of construction and architecture.
The parties hope that this pilot project can be scaled up in higher and secondary construction education throughout Ukraine.
