At the meeting of the Rector of Lviv Polytechnic Yurii Bobalo and the representatives of the Lviv-Center Rotary Club, it was agreed to support the production of hydrogel bandages for the needs of medical institutions.
Club President Liubomyr Zasadny briefly informed those present about the Club’s humanitarian activities during the war, including the support of Lviv Polytechnic in the production of hydrogel bandages for the needs of medical institutions.
The Polytechnic Rector expressed his gratitude to the Club for financial support in the purchase of reagents for the production of bandages and briefly outlined the directions of the institution’s work in such a difficult time for the country.
― The Rotary Club will continue cooperation with Lviv Polytechnic in the direction of expanding the production of hydrogel dressings, necessary for wounded soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the civilian population. For this, the Lviv-Center Rotary Club together with other Rotary Clubs of Lviv undertook to finance the equipment for automatic packaging of hydrogel dressings that will allow to increase their production at least three times, – explained Volodymyr Starchevskyi, Professor at the Department of Physical, Analytical and General Chemistry, the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies.
