On April 2 and 3 Lviv Polytechnic hosted the third, final stage of Leopolis For Future, the internship program for Lviv students and postgraduates.

Let’s remind: Leopolis for Future is an internship program at various enterprises in Poland.

For two days, students and postgraduates of Lviv Polytechnic National University, Ivan Franko Lviv National University and Lviv National Academy of Arts had a final interview at our university. Michal Kobosko, the President of Leopolis for Future, Karolina Erwin, a program coordinator, Rafał Stepnowski, the president of Boeing’s Board of Directors who will take interns, and Mateusz Dopka, software engineer of this company, chose the program participants. During the conversation, held in Polish or English, the commission evaluated candidates’ ability to adapt to the internship conditions and to the new conditions, in general. Flexibility, purposefulness, motivation and competence in the sphere were the main things the commission took into consideration.

This year two dozen Polytechnicians applied for Leopolis for Future. In the third stage there were only sixteen of them. According to Nataliia Rozhankivska, the coordinator of the program in Polytechnic, 25 or 27 interns will be invited to Poland. There is no fixed quota for each higher education institution – scholarships will be provided according to how applicants have shown themselves.
