The Ukraine Global Faculty project is ongoing for students, postgraduates and academics of Ukrainian institutions of higher education. Within its framework foreign professors from leading universities, top experts and entrepreneurs give online lectures to the Ukrainian audience.

On January 19, 2023, the lecture «Chaos & Complexity: Modelling Crisis Management in the 2020s» will be held as part of the project. The speaker is David Rubens, Executive Director in the Institute of Strategic Risk Management (London, UK).

The frameworks that have defined and supported strategic risk and crisis management since the end of the Second World War are no longer strong or robust enough to model, engage with or respond to current crisis events. This lecture looks at some of the issues around understanding current crisis events, and the approaches that are necessary to prepare for and respond to them effectively.

The event starts at 15:00 Kyiv time, the duration is 90 minutes. The language of the lecture is English with simultaneous translation into Ukrainian.

To get free access to the online lectures, you need to register on the website of the event.
