The lecture on Basics of Capital Structure and Corporate Governance will be held as part of the Ukraine Global Faculty project

The Ukraine Global Faculty project has been launched for students, postgraduates and faculty of Ukrainian institutions of higher education. Within the project, foreign professors from leading universities, top experts and entrepreneurs will give online lectures to the Ukrainian audience.

On November 24, 2022, the lecture on Basics of Capital Structure and Corporate Governance will be held within the framework of the project. The speaker is Charles K. Whitehead, Professor of Business Law at Cornell Law School and the Founding Director of the Law, Technology and Entrepreneurship program at Cornell Tech, New York City, USA.

This lecture will focus on how U.S. world-class businesses are governed – the fiduciary duties to which boards of directors and officers are subject – and the relationship between corporate governance and a company’s capital structure.

The event starts at 16:00 Kyiv time, and will last for 90 minutes. The language of the lecture is English with simultaneous translation into Ukrainian.
