The program is aimed at attracting well-known researchers and highly qualified specialists to lecture for at least 60 hours.
Under this program 10 visiting professors gave the lectures online and offline at our University in 2020.
The Departments of the Institute of Computer Technologies, Automation and Metrology, the Institute of the Humanities and Social Sciences, and the Institute of Jurisprudence, Psychology and Innovative Education invited foreign professors to teach various disciplines. In addition, students could attend additional courses. For example, at the Viacheslav Chornovil Institute of Sustainable Development visiting professors organized an optional course «Food Safety» for students, and at the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Transport – «European experience of welding in the construction and repair of pipelines».
Upon successful completion of such courses, the students’ results are included in the diploma supplement.
Foreign universities also invited highly qualified specialists of Lviv Polytechnic to lecture various disciplines to their students. Thus, 27 Polytechnic professors taught online and offline in educational institutions of different countries.
