In the time quarantine measures, we have only few possibilities for different kinds of activities. Such are challenges within the framework of the Winter International School «Environmental Security of Ukraine: Challenges or Opportunities» for students from the University of Pennsylvania, USA.
That is why Viacheslav Chornovil Institute of Sustainable Development, Lviv Polytechnic National University, organized a virtual city tour for the School participants. Mariia Ruda, a lecturer at the Department of Ecological Safety and Nature Protection Activity, conducted such a tour using an online broadcast on the Zoom platform.
Students from the United States admitted they were impressed by the architecture of our city. When choosing a Winter School in Ukraine, they expected something new and unusual, but the culture and history of Lviv and Lviv Polytechnic National University exceeded their expectations, admitted Justin Kurtz, a student at the Winter International School.
The faculty and students of the Institute do not plan to stop, and therefore promise many more surprises for American students.
