On May 9–10, 2024, the 2nd International scientific and practical conference of students and young scientists on the Prospects of Popularizing Historical Heritage and Cultural Tourism in Ukraine: the Experience of European Countries was held at the Department of Management of Organizations, the Institute of Economics and Management, Lviv Polytechnic National University. The event was held as part of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module European experience in the promotion of heritage and cultural tourism (EEPHCT).
The purpose of the conference was to discuss current scientific and practical issues related to challenges for the tourism business in Ukraine in the conditions of a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine and to formulate proposals for the promotion of historical heritage and cultural tourism in Ukraine based on the experience of European countries.
The materials to the conference were submitted by students and young scientists from Lviv Polytechnic National University, Rivne Applied College of Information Technologies, Mariupol State University, Drohobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University, Kamianets-Podilskyi Industrial College, Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Leonid Yuzkov Khmelnytskyi University of Management and Law, Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, Stepan Gzhytskyi National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnologies, Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, Vinnytsia Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi State Pedagogical University, Lviv University of Trade and Economics, Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy, National University «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic».
In addition, the 2nd stage of the competition of scientific works of students and young scientists «The future preservation of historical heritage and development of cultural tourism: Ukraine – Europe» was held as part of the conference.
