On June 7, 2019, Professor Vasyl Hulay, the Head of the Department of International Information at Lviv Polytechnic National University, and Vira Maksymets, Associate Professor at the II Department, took part in the ІІ International Scientific Conference «The Role of Local Government in the Formation of Public Security» at Aleksander Gieysztor Academy of Humanities in Pultusk, Poland. The topic of the report is «Crises and conflicts in the newly formed united territorial communities of Ukraine».
According to the results of the conference, there was prepared a collective monograph, to which Lviv Polytechnicians submitted a whole unit in English.
Establishing scientific relations with Polish colleagues, representatives of our University also discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the educational sphere, in particular, through the opportunities for future students of the International Information program, the specialty of International Relations, Public Communication and Regional Studies at Lviv Polytechnic, to obtain education according to such specialties of Aleksander Gieysztor Academy of Humanities as:
- Economic security;
- Security of firms and institutions;
- International Security;
- Crisis management in local administration.
