The IJPS Associate Professor became a co-developer of educational videos for the «Learn wherever you are» website from Google

A series of educational videos about working with Google for Education tools appeared on the «Learn wherever you are» website from Google.

Among the educational videos are materials with is Oleh Stechkevych, Associate Professor at the Department Pedagogics and Innovative Education, Institute of Jurisprudence, Psychology and Innovative Education, Lviv Polytechnic, Google for Education Certified Trainer. The University academic, together with the team, has developed such topics as «Getting Started with Chromebook», «Online Classes. Additional functions of Google Meet», «Manage files. Working with Google Drive», and «Slideshows, Effective Demonstrations and Interaction with Google Presentations».

― This project is aimed at helping pedagogues to continue teaching even when they are unable to be in the classroom. These educational videos about working with Google for Education tools will make it possible to use Google tools more effectively in the learning process, said Oleh Stechkevych. ― As part of this project initiative, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and UNESCO, educators in different regions of Ukraine began to receive Chromebook laptops. In total, it is planned that teachers will receive 50,000 devices.

Among the developed materials that will help you quickly and efficiently start working with a Chromebook, the website has videos on the following topics:

  • Google Class for a student
  • Daily work and collaboration in Google Docs
  • Functions and peculiarities of Google Calendar

These Google tools for collaborative teaching and learning are available free of charge.
