Vadym Naiko, a fourth year student of the Department of Political Science and International Relations of the Institute of the Humanities and Social Sciences, Lviv Polytechnic, majoring at International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies, received a certificate from Yale University, USA.
He took an 8-week online course on Moral Foundations of Politics by Yale University. Access to the course was offered through the Coursera platform, which allows everyone to receive additional knowledge from the best universities and companies in the world for free. The course included listening to lectures, independent study of the materials and their discussion on the forum.
After successful fulfillment of the course tasks, a diligent student received a certificate from Yale University. This is a good example of non-formal learning that complements student’s knowledge of the chosen speciality.
