On April 12, at the invitation of Nestle Business Service Center in Lviv, students of Lviv Polytechnic National University visited the company’s head office.
The program included a corporate presentation about Nestlé and Nestlé Business Services Lviv, presentations of the work of its various departments (Record to Report, Order to Cash, Source to Pay, Nespresso), benefits of working for Nestlé and corporate values of the company. Also there was time for questions and answers.
Presentations of the work of each individual department were carried out by representatives of those departments, who told about the specifics of work, requirements, knowledge and skills needed. Introducing themselves, they indicated the education institution in which they were studying and told about their career paths. Lots of speakers, as it turned out, studied at Lviv Polytechnic, in particular, at the Institute of Economics and Management.
As a result, students received a lot of new and useful information, expanded their horizons on the profession of an accountant, applied their knowledge in practice, critically evaluated their capabilities and needs for further improvement, in particular, in the study of foreign languages, which is an important factor in the work for a large international company.
