On March 30, 2019, there was an official meeting of the leaders of Lviv Polytechnic National University and representatives of the Institute of Economics and Management with the Polish delegation from Gdańsk University of Technology and the representatives of the Faculty of Management and Economics, led by the dean of the faculty Professor Julita Wasilczuk.
The meeting was organized within the Erasmus Mundus program with the assistance of Professor Oleh Karyi, Head of the Department of Organizational Management. Representatives of Gdańsk University of Technology and Vice-rector for Scientific Research, Professor Natalia Chukhrai, initially discussed the conditions for cooperation between the universities and then Polish guests presented directions for joint collaboration with the departments of the Institute of Economics and Management.
The meeting proved to be productive for new directions of cooperation. In particular, the representatives of the universities agreed upon the topics of joint researches, discussed the prospects of student training and Lviv Polytechnicians giving lectures in one of the best universities in Poland and reached an agreement on the joint organization of scientific events (conferences, seminars) with the subsequent publication of collective monographs and other joint scientific publications, etc.
