On April 14, 2021, the staff of the International Institute of Education, Culture and Diaspora Relations, Lviv Polytechnic National University, met with Oksana Levytska, Chair of the UWC International Educational Coordinating Council (UWC IECC).
IECC is a long-term partner of our Institute. We have organized a number of joint events and initiatives, in particular, only in 2020 the IECDR team together with IECC held a series of educational webinars for Ukrainian educators from abroad, a webinar «Highlights of Diplomacy» from Oleksandr Balanutsa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Kuwait, and presentation of the Ukrainian Educational Universe portal.
It was the Ukrainian Educational Universe portal, whose partners are IECC and UWC, that was the subject of discussion at the meeting. The IECDR team together with Oksana Levytska discussed a plan how to optimize the work to the maximum efficiency of the portal, namely: they planned to hold a series of webinars, during which teachers will not only get acquainted with the functionality of the portal, but also create an account, register a school, post news, comment on topics on the forum and share experiences.
