The Department of Intelligent Mechatronics and Robotics, the Institute of Computer Technologies, Automation and Metrology, Lviv Polytechnic, has been successfully cooperating with the international concern Rauschert Pressig-Heinersdorf GmbH, Germany. Rauschert Group and Lviv Polytechnic National University have signed a Cooperation Agreement (coordinator – Professor Orest Ivakhiv), which provides for:
- internships for students at Rauschert companies;
- providing topics of scientific and practical works;
- practical training of students in the company’s pilot production at Lviv Polytechnic;
- joint participation in research and development projects.
In particular, the Department received sponsorship funding for the purchase of the equipment set Basic pneumatics training by Festo in 2019. In February 2020, Associate Professor Serhii Kliuchkovskyi and Master’s student M. Semenchenko did an internship at the concern’s production facilities in Germany.
A meeting with the University Rector, Professor Yurii Bobalo, and the Vice-Rector for Economic Affairs, Associate Professor Anatoliy Moroz is scheduled for December 14, 2020. They will discuss the implementation of the Agreement and prospects for its development in the coming years.
