SID City Science Park continues to expand its activities. Its new project is the Hydrogen Technology Center. Together with the Hydroxy Power company, hydrogen, its possibilities and applications in everyday life are being studied here. The center has already concrete developments, which were demonstrated to the representatives of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
«The topic is extremely relevant – hydrogen is actively developing and we are extremely pleased to be one of the first such centers in Ukraine to have successful projects. The goal is technology transfer, commercialization, further research on this topic, development of startups, expansion of the production base, which we already have, and which we managed to supplement at the expense of LRSA projects. Soon we plan to additionally present new opportunities – the organization of meetings and scientific and practical conferences. We aim to introduce the use of modern hydrogen technologies in everyday life, we want to make them as effective as possible, and with their help to improve life», said Nazarii Podolchak, director of Tech StartUp School.
In the project of the Hydrogen Technology Center, the main partner of Tech StartUp School is Hydroxy Power, which has presented a large number of developments using hydrogen over the past year. Many of them were implemented in the SID City Science Park and became the basis for the Hydrogen Technology Center. Many developments: hydrogen systems for cars and special equipment, hydrogen engine cleaning systems, hydrogen welding machine, electrolyzers, and ozonator, were presented to the future investors and partners.
«There are many areas in the process of hydrogen research, so there is a lot to work on. We plan to experiment with hydrogen storage in the near future, and we are also looking towards energy industry. Hydrogen energy is developing rapidly, so there must be a demand for large industrial electrolyzers which we produce. But the priority is the storage and transportation of hydrogen, and we want to solve it», said Taras Yaremchuk, representative of the Hydroxy Power.
So far, only the basis of the project has been presented, which has a wide range of prospects for development due to the relevance of the topic. The first developments of the Hydrogen Technology Center managed to interest the audience, and plans for the future confirmed the ambition of the team.
