Recently, Lviv Polytechnic National University held a meeting with Andrii Kuznik, Acting Chief of Lviv Customs.
First of all, Andrii Kuznik met with the Rector of Lviv Polytechnic, Professor Yurii Bobalo. Within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation, they discussed projects regarding the participation of customs specialists in the university’s educational programs, the involvement of students in internships at the structural units of Lviv Customs and conducting practical classes with visits to customs posts.
«Lviv Customs is interested in qualified young specialists who are ready to work for the development of our country. Nowadays, many changes are taking place, so the service in the customs of Ukraine is becoming more and more promising. I invite young Polytechnic students to come to us for an educational internship, thanks to which you will be able to consolidate and deepen your theoretical knowledge, familiarize yourself with the specifics of the work of this structure and gain valuable experience», said Andrii Kuznik.
During the motivational event, second-year students majoring in Management learned about the peculiarities of the work of the Lviv Customs in wartime conditions. Also, Polytechnicians had the opportunity to exchange thoughts, ideas and hear answers to their questions from the distinguished guest within the framework of the Customs Affairs course. In particular, students asked about the possibility of employment, methods of determining the customs value and the procedure for transporting humanitarian aid from abroad, and were also interested in the most high-profile cases of violation of customs rules.
Andrii Kuznik also discussed directions of cooperation with the Institute of Economics and Management at the meeting with the Director of IEM, Professor Oleh Kuzmin.
