The All-Ukrainian Forum «Extracurricular education without barriers. The model of the future», dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the creation of a system of extracurricular education, took place in the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
The best institutions of extracurricular education from all over the country presented their achievements and innovations. Within the framework of the Forum, Lviv region received an award in the nomination «Education. Science. Personality».
«Hard work of some people is behind any success. We are pleased that Lviv region has such tireless and active people as Ivanna Borodchuk, head of the Small Academy of Sciences, and Professor Nazar Podolchak, head of Lviv Polytechnic Tech Startup School. It is due to such people extracurricular education, despite difficult times, does not lose its pace and reach new heights. We have to work together to make extracurricular education successful, progressive and interesting», said Ivan Sobko, deputy chairman of Lviv Regional State Administration.
Not so long ago, Tech Startup School, Lviv Polytechnic National University, implemented the Batiary Startup project, within which schoolchildren could present their ideas.
«The competition makes it possible to develop ideas, create new scientific spaces, share experiences and implement your plans with like-minded people. It is great that the Ministry understand the importance of the extracurricular education. We try to develop inventions, science and interest in children to this sphere. We hope that together with the authorities and patrons we will also implement the idea of creating a Museum of Science and Innovation in Lviv», – told Professor Nazar Podolchak, head of the University’s Tech Startup School.
Lviv Regional Small Academy of Sciences does not stop its activities as well. For the year, children study in 12 scientific directions in various sections and circles, conduct research and protect their research works.
