During the spring academic semester, the teachers of Marketing and Logistics Department, Assoc. Prof. Taisia Nakonechna, Assoc. Prof. Nataliia Mashchak and assist. Lidiia Bolibrukh taught the elective discipline «Internet marketing» for students of the first (bachelor’s) higher education level within the project «Dissemination of EU practices through e-marketing, conscious consumption, circular economy, resource efficiency» of the EU Erasmus+ program directed by Jean Monet.
Students learned about:
- the essence of Internet marketing and its importance in enterprise’s marketing management;
- the current state and trends in the development of Internet marketing technologies;
- features of Internet marketing, marketing methods and tools used in the market;
- modern trends in the development of theoretical foundations and practice of Internet marketing, the use of IT technologies in marketing activities.
From a practical point of view, the students learned to form the enterpriseєі digital strategies, developed a project to popularize the circular economy, conscious consumption and sustainable business practices, which consisted of: market research, marketing research (Google Forms survey); the use of e-mailing for surveying, analysis of the company’s marketing activities in the Internet, analysis of competitors and identification of the conscious consumption «footprint»; mastered the tools for creating promotional materials to promote conscious consumption, learned and applied the basics of copywriting; practiced in writing information and recommendation posts on environmental topics; learned how to set up advertising algorithms in social networks and SEO optimization to promote environmental initiatives of enterprises online; used Google Analytics tools; mastered the skills of compiling the semantic core of the site. The result of discipline studying was a team presentation of developed projects for the promotion of the circular economy, conscious consumption, resource efficiency through Internet marketing tools and the development of recommendations for businesses on the implementation of these principles in their activities.
