April 12 is International Day of Human Space Flight and Day of Ukraine’s Rocket and Space Industry Workers.
This is a professional feast for many Polytechnicians. Earlier at our University there was a point of observation of artificial Earth satellites, from where, by the way, Yuri Gagarin’s historical flight was observed. In the 1950s, Polytechnicians produced spare parts for on-board computer systems. Now the University trains specialists in the Space Industry with a specialization «Space Monitoring».
