What is Clickers?
Clickers is a system of students’ reaction to the material taught. With the help of radiofrequency signals, instructors are able to assess the level of understanding of the material taught to students and create interactive learning experience. Students, in their turn, have an opportunity to interact with the lecturer by asking questions and highlighting the content which is not clear.
In fact, Clickers system provides instant feedback from the student to the lecturer and makes it possible to adapt lectures to the demands of young people.
How does it work?
During a class, remotes-clickers are used to record students’ answers. As a result of this, data are collected and analyzed, which enables us to see whether the audience is interested, whether the material is clear or not, whether it is possible to move on.
Lviv Polytechnic National University always tries to move with the times, since it is one of the best technical schools in Eastern Europe. The system that is to be created by students will be put to use in the nearest future. Thus each student will have an opportunity to change the system of teaching and make it more convenient and flexible.
Lviv Tеch StartUp School, as a platform for realizing innovative ideas, is announcing a competition for developing «Clickers» application software, which takes the communication between the lecturer and the student to a fundamentally new level.
