Lviv Polytechnic held the Days of Japanese Culture, during which the University became a real centre of Japanese culture in Ukraine. The event was organized by the Center for International Education and the Center for Ukrainian-Japanese Cooperation with the support of the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine, as well as with the participation of the Japan University of Economics, Kobe Gakuin University and Nippon Manufacturing Service Corporation (nms).
The event took place on the occasion of Culture Day - a Japanese national holiday, the purpose of which is to promote the development of culture, art and science. The events were attended by students and faculty of the Department of Applied Linguistics, the Department of Political Science and International Relations, the Department of Foreign Languages for Engineering, the Department of Management of Organizations, the Department of Foreign Trade and Customs, the Department of Tourism, the Institute of Architecture and Design, as well as students who are studying Japanese as an elective discipline, and everyone who wants to immerse themselves in the world of Japanese language and culture.
Days of Japanese Culture at Lviv Polytechnic is not only a bright and unforgettable event for students, faculty and guests, but also an important step towards bringing our university and Japan closer together through education, language, culture and bilateral cooperation.
