Drones were purchased and sent to our defenders thanks to the funds donated by Polytechnicians and friends of our University as part of a large-scale collection on the occasion of Lviv Polytechnic Day «208 years ― 208 thousand».
― It is important that this large collection was supported by students, employees, and the administration of our University. Every Institute supported this important initiative. In a short time, Polytechnicians donated 286,000 hryvnias, 231,300 hryvnias of which went to the collection bank and 55,000 hryvnias in cash. We purchased five Mavic 3 Classic drones for UAH 268,404. And the rest of the funds were transferred to purchase the vehicle for the military unit A3821, said Anastasiia Vakarchuk, head of the Students and Postgraduates Union, Lviv Polytechnic. ― We sent the purchased drones to Dmytro Hnativ, a graduate of the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies, who performs combat missions as part of the 10th battalion of the 59th brigade.
