On January 28, Lviv Polytechnic National University and LLC «JV «UKRINTERM» signed a Memorandum of partnership and cooperation aimed at the development of energy-efficient technologies and the implementation of innovative solutions in the heat and power sector of Ukraine.
The document was signed by Roman Korzh, Vice-Rector for Institutional Development, Lviv Polytechnic National University, and Petro Moroz, General Director of LLC «JV UKRINTERM». The Memorandum outlines the parties’ intention to combine the University’s scientific and educational potential with the enterprise’s practical experience in order to enhance the energy efficiency of the Ukrainian economy and promote the development of modern technologies in the field of heat and power engineering.
The cooperation provides for the exchange of information on the latest technologies and innovative developments in the field of energy efficiency, the joint implementation of energy-saving projects, and the establishment of cooperation with Ukrainian and international companies. Particular emphasis will be placed on human resource development, including the organization of internships, practical training, and dual education for students, as well as advanced training for energy sector specialists through trainings and seminars.
The Memorandum also provides for support in the establishment of educational and production laboratories and practical training facilities that will contribute to the preparation of highly qualified specialists in the field of energy efficiency.
