The Institute has a decisive scientific and pedagogical staff (50 Prof.Dr. hab, Full Professors; 70 Ph.D (i.e., eight of them have received Ph.D. degrees in various fields). Academia member staff efforts aim to train conscious, qualified specialists capable of scientific and pedagogical work, practical activity in public authorities, etc.
The Institute's constant cooperation with public administration bodies of Ukraine, and domestic and foreign higher education institutions (networking with academic and non-academic partners on national and international levels) is manifested in involvement in the development, revision, and implementation of educational programs during the educational process (including in the form of guest and visiting lectures, moot court competitions, various workshops, and problem-based learning sessions).
Within the framework of the established partnerships and consortia for the implementation of international projects and within the framework of active agreements concluded, the Institute has academic and non-academic partners from different countries worldwide (Baltic countries, Brazil, Czechia, China, France, Georgia, Germany, Israel, Italy, Moldova, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, United Kingdom, etc).
Over three thousand applicants from all regions of Ukraine (including 2,656 bachelor's, 417 master's, and 102 postgraduates) yearly study at the Institute (full-time and part-time). Students can implement academic mobility and perform work assignments for international educational and scientific projects (including ERASMUS+, Horizon2020).
Periodically, one-time specialized councils might be formed for our Ph.D students to defend in public theses for obtaining a Ph.D. in the relevant specialties: A1 Educational, pedagogical sciences, A5 Professional education (by specialization), C4 Psychology, C7 Journalism, D8 Law.
Currently, the Institute has buildings in four locations:
- basic - Knjazya Romana str. 1/3, (19th educational building) - law.
The building was built in 1891–1895 for the Supreme Court of Galicia (Palace of Justice) according to the design of architect Franciszek Skovron (1856–1929), a private associate professor at Lviv Polytechnic.
