The Department of Foreign Trade and Customs was established in accordance with the order of the Rector of the Lviv Polytechnic National University №72-10 from 27.04.2012 and the decision of the University’s Academic Council (protocol №52 from 24.04.2012) on the basis of the Department of Management and International Entrepreneurship at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Economics and Management.
Since its foundation, the department is headed by Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Olga Hryhorivna Melnyk.
Today the department trains students in specialties 073 "Management" (educational programs "Management of foreign economic activity" and "Management of customs activities") and 051 "Economics" (educational program "Applied Economics")
