For the second year in a row teaching staff of the Department of Marketing and Logistics, the Institute of Economics and Management, Lviv Polytechnic, are organizing the Summer School within the project «Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Dissemination of European Experience», Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module for high school students. The events will take place from June 6 to 10 2022.
The main goal of the Summer School is to acquaint high school students with the field of logistics and supply chain management and the best European logistics practices as well as to help students consciously choose the future profession.
This year the participants of the Summer School will be students of the Lviv Academic Gymnasium. The program includes thematic business games, presentations, tests, and a tour of the manufacture. Students will practice teamwork and critical thinking skills, performing tasks individually and in groups. From lectures and videos, students will learn about the essence and basic principles of logistics and supply chains, taking into account the European experience.
In addition to the Summer School, within the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module project «Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Dissemination of European Experience» teachers of the project team teach optional courses of the same name for students of different specialties of Lviv Polytechnic National University, hold international scientific conferences and every year in April organize – Logistics Day with the participation of business, government, students and teachers.
