The education process at the department is oriented toward the revealing and improving each student’s creative personality. Various types of architectural design provide complex training which enables each student to adapt to any sphere of architectural activity.
Today the Department of Architectural Design is one of the five profiled departments in the Institute of Architecture. We train bachelors in Architecture; specialists and masters in Architecture of Buildings and Structures (in two majors: Housing Architecture and Interior Architecture).
The training modes of study include:
- Intramural;
- Extramural;
- Distance;
- Postgraduate.
Having chosen distance training, you can pursue the Bachelor and Specialist degrees on the basis of the Institute of Distance Education.
In addition, the Professional Development training in “Architecture of Buildings and Structures” (7.06010201) was launched at the Department on the basis of the Institute of Postgraduate Education. The second higher education training lasts less — 2.5 years (8 trimesters).
Nearly 150 Bachelors, 40 Masters of Architecture and 50 Specialists graduate from our Department annually.
Our graduates design residential, public, industrial buildings and engineering structures; design interiors; work as construction supervisors; carry out research and education activities.
The fact that graduates in the Department of Architectural Design work within their specialty not only in Ukraine, but also in Poland, Russia, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Israel and Canada testifies the level of architects’ academic training.
