- Directive 2016/798/EC on railway safety / EU / Official Journal of the European Union, 2015.
- Technical Specification for Interoperability (Subsystems: Infrastructure, Rolling Stock, Energy).
- Risk assessment and development of risk mitigation strategies in the transport sector:
- EN 50126 (IEC 62278) – RAMS
- EN 50128 (IEC 622279) – Software
- EN 50129 (IEC 62425) – System Safety
Functional safety ensures that safety risks due to system malfunctions are reduced to an acceptable level. These safety risks increase in the railway sector as railway technologies become more complex, hardware and software interact in different ways, and components are sourced from multiple markets.
- Risk assessment and development of risk mitigation strategies in the transport sector;
- Audit of railway transport safety systems.
