Khochu Theatrical Studio has been working at Prosvita Cultural Assosiation since 1988. At first Iryna Zavadska, an actress of Mariya Zankovetska Theater was its director.
Iryna Shvaykivska, Honoured Actress of Ukraine and an actress of Mariya Zankovetska Theater, has been artistic and main stage director since 1998 and she has named it Khochu. The participants of Khochu are the students of Lviv Polytechnic National University.
It is a friendly group united by love to the word, art, inclination to the high culture and spirituality.
Theatrical studio repeatedly took part in different festivals and competitions. It is the laureate of the XII Spring Wave Ukrainian Festival of Student Creative Works and the winner of Oy Raduysya Zemle (Do Be Glad the Earth) Vertep’s Festival.

Adaptations for stage:
- Ya.Malyunta “U tiyei Kateryny” and fragments of work of B.Stelmakh “Taras”,
- plays of V.Shevchuk “Vertep”, “Pharaons”,
- Volodin “Z kokhanymy ne rozluchaytes”.
Theatrical studio began to stage theatrical holidays such as Saint Andrew’s Day, Saint Nicola’s Day, Melanka’s Day as well as Vertep, promoting Ukrainian customs, traditions and ceremonies with the revival of spirituality of the Ukrainian people.
